Celebrate Portuguese culture, music, and community as Banda Nova Aliança marks its anniversary with a special weekend of festivities in Pawtucket.

On Saturday night, the celebration heads to Rhode Island FC for Portuguese Heritage Night, bringing together the excitement of professional soccer with the music, traditions, and community spirit of Pawtucket’s Portuguese-American community.

Cheer on Rhode Island FC as they take on Miami FC, enjoy the Heritage Night festivities, and stay after the match for a special postgame fireworks show.

The celebration is part of Banda Nova Aliança’s three-day Anniversary Weekend, September 18–20, featuring a Friday night dinner, Saturday’s Portuguese Heritage Night, and a Sunday community celebration.

• Friday, September 18 — Friday Night Dinner

• Saturday, September 19 — Portuguese Heritage Night: 7:30 PM for RIFC vs. Miami FC.

• Sunday, September 20 — Anniversary Celebration: begins after the 10:15 AM Mass, with music, food and fun until 9:00 PM.
